Use the drum unit until you have a print quality problem, then replace the drum unit with a new one. NOTE: Even if the remaining life of the drum is displayed as 0%, you can continue to use your current drum unit. If you reset the drum counter during the life of a USED drum, then the drum life will NOT be accurate.

You’ll still need to replace the drum at some stage. REMEMBER to reset the counter when you replace the drum unit. If you have not replaced the drum your printing will drop in quality as the drum wears down. Note: This should get you printing again.
